24 X 48" fiber sculpture with custom framing and sculptural details, from the Shifter Collection. This piece is mounted on 1/2" wood backing and comes with hanging hardware included (hardware is not pre-attached so that you can turn the piece to be landscape or portrait depending on your space).
The felt that I use for my work is acrylic felt that is made from recycled plastic water bottles! Small upholstered pebbles with bead detailing are incorporated into this piece.
CARE:
Because these pieces are made primarily from acrylic felt, they do not attract dust as easily as their wool counterparts (and no moths!). Each felt section is stapled or anchored using finishing nails through the wood backing. This means that you can use a small handheld vacuum or can of air to dust the piece when necessary. After dusting the piece, feel free to fluff!
** Please never vacuum, brush or rustle areas with sculptural details. These include areas that are beaded, plaster, clay, resin and mesh. These sections are delicate and should not be handled roughly.
