20 x 13" organically shaped fiber sculpture made by Kate Leibrand. Purple, pink and tan.
Each piece is primarily acrylic felt that is made from recycled plastic water bottles. Other detail areas include mesh, beading, foam and felted wool fibers. Hanging kit and instructions are included with purchase.
Care:
Because these pieces are made primarily from acrylic felt, they do not attract dust as easily as their wool counterparts. Each felt section is stapled or anchored using finishing nails through a wood backing. This means that you can use a small handheld vacuum or can of air to dust the piece if necessary. After dusting the piece, go back through and fluff areas where the felt may have moved and the backing is exposed.
Please never vacuum, brush or rustle areas with added details. These include areas that are beaded, include clay or resin, or are “felted” (sections where fibers are directly matted onto a surface). These sections are delicate and should not be handled roughly.
